I try wherever possible to avoid making some of the absurd and arrogant claims you might hear in other spaces — so you won’t ever hear me claim to be an expert in human relationships. There’s plenty of that on the internet. You won’t get to know what’s specifically human about my experience (part of those boundaries), but I refuse to profit from pretending I’ve got all my “stuff” figured out or letting you believe that by omission.
I’m simply another human in the world. At one point in my life, I went looking for a set of perspectives, practices, and skills that I genuinely wish I’d known and practiced earlier. Having found some of what I was looking for, I’ve made it my life’s work to hold and bring these things to other humans who might be on a similar search.
Therapy works because of the relationship, not in spite of it. What makes it work is honesty, authenticity, and consistency — and the fact that I genuinely have no stake in who you become or where you take your life. That part belongs to you. What I can offer is a space where that finding and figuring-out becomes possible.
My approach starts with Person-Centered therapy and Motivational Interviewing — the relational foundation — and draws on evidence-based tools from there depending on what you’re actually dealing with: the Gottman Method for couples, Prolonged Exposure for trauma, and the Community Reinforcement Approach for substance use. More than any technique, I’m interested in building a relationship where you feel understood and where the work feels real.
For adults and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, life transitions, and more.

If you don’t see your insurer listed, contact me — I may be credentialing with additional panels or can provide a superbill for out-of-network reimbursement.
Rather than a fixed published rate, I prefer to arrive at a fee collaboratively. I find this allows our financial agreement to reflect your actual circumstances rather than a one-size-fits-all number. Your fee will be documented in a Good Faith Estimate as required by federal law.
If cost is a concern, please reach out — I’d rather have that conversation than have it stand in the way of you getting support.
